Children will learn what makes a clay model easy to animate, and discover the different kinds of movements that animation clay naturally suits. They will then create their own large scale clay models using wire armatures, putty and facial expressions. Finally they will animate their characters focusing on how to achieve natural character movement and how to evoke personality through movement.
By the end of the day children will have produced a professional claymation character to take home and use in animations and a sequence of animations using this character.
